Robert Lee Watson

Robert Lee Watson: Was born November 18, 1940, to the late Bob, and Georg-Ann Watson in Riverwood Alabama. Robert was one of five children which four proceeded him in death. His brothers Thomas and Judge and his sisters Rosie and Leubirta.

Robert was Educated in the Choctaw County School System. Robert frequently attended Wahalak Baptist Church located in Butler Alabama.

In his early days as a young man, he moved to Cleveland Ohio where his loving sister and family was living. Robert met Margaret and later they love grew and grew. They worked together at an all-night cleaning job. Robert continued after Margaret retired and became Manager of two downtown buildings. He finally decided to retire were him and Margaret enjoyed each other until her passing.
Grandpa as his grand and great grandchildren called him, was more than loved by his daughter and grandchildren. there was nothing he wouldn't do for them and nothing they wouldn't do for him.

He was the best Father and Grandfather, and his Great grandchildren were his life. He made Sure every day that all was alright and had everything they needed. He was a dedicated newspaper reader and loved his Sports and Western movies. He ate a specific weekly meal which his daughter faithfully made for him, because no one else good do it because he would not eat it.

Grandpa left this world on January 30, 2023, and he took a piece of all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and daughter with him. Our days will never be the same. He leaves to mourn, his daughter, Carol Ann Murphy; five grandchildren, Rafique Murphy (LaCora), Riarre Murphy (Genora), Reontey Murphy (Kiera), Keiarri Murphy, and Keirreni Murphy; 24 great-grandchildren; A loving Special nephew for whom they grew up together like brothers, Davis Watson of Las Vegas Nevada; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
