Raymond Lamar Howard was born January 7, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio to Bonnie Ruth Bell and Raymond Edwards. Raymond attended Cleveland Metropolitan Schools. He attended Gethsemane Baptist Church and worked at National Car Mart where he retired.
Raymond was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything you put in front of him. He was one of the coolest cats around, who stayed fly and very well dressed. He stayed wearing a nice hat and some sharp shoes. Gators was his thing. He always smelled good. Raymond loved and kept a nice luxury car. He loved to listen to some smooth jazz and good old seventy's music. His hobbies were working on cars, shooting pool, playing cards, dominoes, and a good dice game. Raymond had an immense amount of love for his entire family. If you called, he came running, fussing and all! He also was a protector of his family and was the person everyone could call and count on.
Raymond is proceeded in death by his mother, Bonnie Ruth Bell; stepfather, Edward Bell; stepmother, Minnie Edwards; three sisters, Michele, Joyce, and Nita; one brother, Rick.
Raymond is survived by his father, Raymond Edwards; two daughters, Nikiea Hobbs, and Raichele Adams; five grandchildren, Bruce Jr, Nautica, Charmaine, Hollis Jr, and Hoilayhia; 14 great grandchildren; five siblings, Linda, Anthony, Deborah, Gloria (Lamar), and Delisha (Joseph); five stepsisters, and one stepbrother; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Raymond is surely loved and will truly be missed. Get your rest, Jeffro!
