Roby Stewart Obituary

Roby Nickson Stewart was born June 14, 1983, to the union of Ruthina Stewart and the late Roby Moore Sr. in Cleveland, Ohio. Roby was born at Cleveland Metro Hospital and was the youngest and only boy of Ruthina's and Roby Sr.'s children.

Roby was baptized at the early age of five years old at Philemon Community Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio under the leadership of the late Reverend Weaver. Roby attended East Cleveland and Cleveland City Schools as well as Lutheran East High School throughout his educational journey. He was a proud alumnus of Shaw High School located in East Cleveland, Ohio. Roby played football for the East Cleveland Chiefs muny league and during his high school career at Lutheran East High School. His position on the field was center.

Roby enjoyed watching the news, reading books, and keeping up with politics. You could always catch him making jokes and having his family and friends laughing. He also enjoyed listening to old-school music. Roby enjoyed eating chicken, and ice cream (his mother would have to hide her ice cream from him all the time). Moreover, he was very prideful about his job, his line of work consisted of working with machinery.
In 2004, Roby married Rachel Simmons and from their union, they had two beautiful children Roby Stewart III (18), and Kayla Stewart (16). Roby's most prized possessions were his children. He wore being a father with a badge of honor.

A brother's and sister's bond could not be broken when it came to Roby and Rosalyn. They would fight, but at the end of the day, they would always love each other. Wherever Rosalyn went, Roby was sure to follow.
Roby leaves to cherish his memories; his children Roby Stewart III and Kayla Stewart, his mother Ruthina Stewart, and his sisters Rosalyn Stewart and Derrion Watkins. His father, Roby Moore Sr., aunt Casey Parkinson, uncle Mobile Moore, grandfather Robert Moore, and Grandmother, Jessica-Ann Moore proceeded him in death. In addition, Roby leaves a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins to cherish his memories as well.
