Prince Thomas

Prince Thomas affectionately known as "PT" was born August 27, 1940 in Monroeville, Alabama to Mazie Thomas and John H. Thomas (both deceased).

Prince relocated From Alabama to Cleveland, Ohio where he started his new journey in life. His journey consisted of attending case western reserve university which led him to multiple security jobs at Dave's supermarket and Bethany Baptist Church just to name a few. Prince was a dedicated employee, and even in his final days he still was ready to go to work.

Prince also started a club with his sister and friends, called the fantastic five where he would get a drink and give away all the profits. Prince loved his cars, barbecuing in the summer, sitting at his table eating watermelon, and shopping at Macy's.

On Friday, April 14, 2022 at 12:52 PM, Prince departed our lives. He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Leshonda Thomas, and Kimberly Lewis Hawkins; his two sons Victor Dukes, and Prince Lee; five grandchildren, DeAngela Goodson, DeQuan Goodson, Victor Dukes Jr, Devon Hawkins, and Curtis Hawkins, Jr; and one sibling, Ellen Mae Bermudez.

Prince was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shon Thomas; three brothers Otis Stanton, Willie Thomas, and John Henry Thomas; one sister, Elizabeth Coleman; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and his very special daughter, Veronica Lett-Childs; and a host of other family and friends.
