Patricia Sumpter

Patricia Sumpter was born on July 12, 1953 in Cleveland Ohio the 3rd oldest of seven children to the late Mattie and John Sumpter. Patricia glided into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 20, 2023 at 11:02 PM.

Patricia received her GED from the Thea Bowman center, and it was a proud day for her and her family. That after all these years she still wanted to complete her education, and she did with hard work and perseverance.

Patrica met her soulmate Eddie James Graham (Deceased) in 1969 at the tender age of 16. Through this union they were blessed with two children Angel Catrice Graham and Eddie John Graham.

Patrica was a dedicated member of Eastview United Church of Christ where she served on the Usher Board, and helped to serve the church in every way she possibly could. Pat would cook something for a gathering at the church or for the church picnic, host dinners for some of her book club members, or serving the people of the church. Patrica was employed at Red Lobster for over 25 years. She enjoyed music, watching her favorite TV shows while lounging in her chair at home and playing the Ohio Lottery and buying scratch off tickets.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Angel Graham, son Eddie Graham; two grandsons, D'Angelus Williams and D'vonte Williams; sisters, Marion Dudley, Gwendolyn Lewis, and Loretta Sumpter (Deceased); brothers, John Sumpter Jr, Ricardo Sumpter and Curtis Stephens (Deceased); She also has a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and her church family.
