Katie M. Hall

Katie Hall was born June 18, 1942 to the union of Jessie and Maggie Pearl Hall both of whom preceded her in death along with her brothers Jessie Hall Jr., Floyd Hall, John Hall, Levi Hall, Lorain Hall, sister Rose Hall, Freddie Hall and Jane Chaney.

Katie left York, Alabama and moved to New York where she started her career at King Park Mental Hospital in Long Island, New York. Katie retired after 22 years of dedicated service November 18, 1998. She stayed in New York 6 years after retiring then decided she wanted to move back to Cleveland to be closer to family.

Katie enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, going to the casino and sitting in the backyard with San and Levi having a glass of wine. In her later days of her illness Katie enjoyed telling the staff at Menorah Park about how she was a party girl, enjoyed music, dancing and a glass of wine.

Katie leaves to cherish her son Carlton Eugene Bernard Hall, brothers; James Watson (Joyce) of Cleveland, OH, Ben Watson (Ruby) of Southfield, MI, Eddie Hall of Cleveland, OH, Frankie Hall (Gwen) of Demopolis, AL, Willie Bishop of York, AL, Roy Hall (Gwen) of Warrensville, IL, sisters; Sylvia Bishop of Cleveland, OH, Margaret Gully (Dan), Patricia Bishop of York, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
