Judith Alma Jones

Judith Alma Jones (Winfrey) was born on November 21, 1960, to Lawrence and Barbara (Hughes) Winfrey. She went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2022, at the age of 61. Judith is the sister of Paul (deceased), Dwayne (deceased), Patrice, Marcia, Barbara, Karl, and Michael. As one of eight children, she was affectionately known as Judy.

Judy was a member of East Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1978 and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Dyke University. She spent the majority of her career working as an accountant in Cleveland, Ohio.

Judy was married to Prince Jones. They shared two children, Lawrence (Selena) Jones, and Latrice (Adrian) Jones.

Judy was well known for her 'life of the party' personality and infectious smile. Born on newspaper, she was always the first person to have the scoop. Judy was often the first person to offer help or call just to check up on someone. Judy believed deeply in her convictions and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judy was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, older brothers, and brother-in-law. She leaves behind her two children, two grandchildren (Christopher & Josiah), husband, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved four-legged companion, Duchess.
