James Lee Woods was born on July 16, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio to Agatha Heard (preceded in death) and Albert Lee Woods (preceded in death).
James attended East Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from Shaw High School. James then went into the Air Force.
James loved his children and he loved looking out for others. He was a hell of a salesman and anyone who knew him would have known that. James loved sports and playing cards, his passion was cooking, he sure could fry some good pork chops, and cook and clean his favorite which was chitterlings.
James entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2021, with the Lord by his side. At that time he joined his departed parents and his brother Michael Woods, who preceded him in death.
James leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Christine Woods; twin children, James Louis Malik Woods, and daughter, Janesha Sharda Woods; step-daughter, Chivon Holloway Thompson (Jamal); two sisters, Cassandra Jones (Charles) of Mobile, Alabama, and Felicia Woods of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Albert Woods, and Nathaniel Woods of Canton, Ohio; three nephews, Marcellus Woods of Cleveland, Ohio, Charod Jones of Mobile, Alabama, and Edward Woods who preceded in death; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and so called friends.
