Faye Bell Jones was born January 7, 1937, in Clayton Alabama to Mollie Dinkins and Gus Rivers. She received her education in Barber County School in Clayton, Alabama. Faye was married to Aaron Jones in 1956, and move to Cleveland, Ohio. Five children was born to this union.
Faye was employed by the Cleveland Board of Education in 1969. She retired in 1997. But continued to volunteer her services to the Board of Education thereafter.
Faye was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Usher Board Interdenominational Church Usher Association of Cleveland (I.C.U.A.) where she was the Arts and Crafts Chairman and Trustee Member. She won State level and national level for years for special Projects. During her membership she attended George T. Grier school of Ushering, where she is a part of the Alumni.
Faye leaves behind five children to cherish her memory, Alice Jones, Valerie Jones, Aaron Jones, Johnny Jones and Lesia Jones /Jackson. As well as sixteen grandchildren, and Forty one great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Jones, Sister Ira Jones and Brother Charley McSwain.
