Diane (Bailey) Johnson departed her earthly life on Saturday, August 28, 2021, by a tragic incident. Diane was born August 19, 1960, in Cleveland Ohio to the late Wilbert Bailey Sr. of Macon Georgia and Lettie May (Iverson) Bailey of Tuskegee, Alabama. She was raised by her parents in a God-fearing home.
Diane completed all her schooling in Cleveland Ohio. She started her education at Hough Elementary school then to Luladale Junior high school and John Hay High school graduating in 1978. Diane went on to further her education at the community College Eastern Campus in Ohio. There, she pursued her heart's desire in nursing, and with years of completion, she graduated with her nursing degree.
Diane married Albert Johnson in 1998 in Cleveland. Shortly afterward they relocated to Covington, Georgia. After settling there she gained employment doing what she loved at Falls Shoal Elementary School. The commitment of her work in health care to students earned her high degree of respect for her dedication and love from her students and staff as well as the school's Principal.
Diane attended United Peace Baptist Church in Cleveland Ohio where she faithfully served the Lord until she and her husband moved to Covington. Diane continued to work out her faith as a Reader in the Ancient Orthodox Catholic Church (AOCC). She thought it interesting reading scriptures and learning about the history of the early church of Jesus and His Apostles.
Diane also loved traveling, shopping, getting her nails and eyelashes done on a regular basis. Diane loved keeping in touch with her family even from a distance. She contacted her Mama every day sharing and getting updates about "what's happening today Mom". Happily, their devotion never ceased to worship and giving praises to the Lord for all He's done.
