Cynthia McGrady Obituary
Loving mother and wife Cynthia Ann McGrady was born November 7, 1964, to Mary and Steve Stefanick. Cynthia had one sister, Pam Stefanick as well as several cousins who viewed her as a mother of their own. Cynthia grew up on the Westside of Cleveland, near W. 130th and Longmead.
Growing up on the Westside of Cleveland, Cynthia attended John Marshall High School where she graduated in 1984. Fortunately for Cynthia, she knew exactly what she wanted in life, and that was to start a family where she could create an everlasting legacy. She married Larry McGrady soon after she graduated high school and, in the summer of 1985, they welcomed their first son into the world Lawrence J McGrady. After a couple years passed, in the winter of 1988, Larry and Cynthia made the wise decision to add to their family by welcoming their second born son Nathan M McGrady into the world. Additionally, after a couple of more years in the fall of 1990 the family was complete by the birth of their third and final son Nicholas A McGrady.
Cynthia dedicated her life to raising her three sons, and supporting her husband Larry of 40 years, reflecting on this memory literally brings tears to your eyes. To say Cynthia was the foundation of the family of five is an understatement. Naturally, it was her compassion, and knack for making great decisions that paved the way for her to be the leader of the family. Cynthia was like a superhero the way she not only maintained the house but had the ability to supplement her husbands and three son's life. Whether she was helping her husband get organized for work or getting the kids ready for school. She never had an off day, and for that the entire family will be forever grateful for her selflessness and loving care. Even though my mother passed away on 08/03/2022 her spirit will live forever in the hearts and memories of everybody she touched.
Cynthia Ann McGrady was preceded in death by her first-born son Lawrence J McGrady, sister Pam Stefanick, mother and father Mary and Steve Stefanick. The family left to cherish her memory is her husband Larry McGrady, two sons Nicholas (Deaira and little Nick) and Nathan McGrady (Chelsea Anderson). In addition, a multitude of cousins.
In conclusion, Cynthia was also the caretaker for her three cats: Barry, Sam, and Tiny. Collectively these three cats brought extreme joy to Cynthia's life.
