Clara Longmire Obituary

Clara Bell Longmire was born May 11th, 1946, to the late James W. and Sadie B. Smith (both deceased). Clara graduated from John Hay high school, and she also attended college for 2 years. Clara greatest accomplishment (her words) was having her son Terrance. He was the best thing that ever happened to her. She met and married the love of her life, Brookie L. Longmire (deceased), August 19th, 1974. Clara and Brookie celebrated 43 blissful years of marriage.
Clara worked for the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland (CEOGC) for well over 30 years.

Clara gave her life over to Christ at a young age. If you knew Clara you knew she truly loved every aspect of the Lord, when you walked into her house there was not a place that didn't have an open bible, a scripture or a gospel song playing in the background. she was an active member of Christian Fellowship Center.

Clara favorite pass time when she wasn't at church, was spending time with her family and friends at cookouts while playing Bid Whist.

Clara leaves to cherish her memories, her son Terrance Smith, 2 grandsons, Tyleer Smith and Carmello Smith,2 sisters Mandy Jefferson and Ernestine Smith, 1 brother James W. Smith Jr and 1 brother who proceeded her in death, Daniel Smith Sr., a host of Nieces and Nephews who will miss her dearly.
