Carla Ann (Hall) Liggins

Carla Ann Liggins, age 59, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on April 27, 2023, after a long and difficult battle with bladder cancer.

Carla was born on October 15, 1963, to Gwendolyn Benjamin and Charles Johnson in Cleveland, OH. After Carla graduated from South High School in 1982, she spent a couple of years in college until she met the love of her life, Henry Lee Liggins., Sr.

Carla dedicated her years to her husband and their three boys (Henry Lee Jr., Samuel Nathaniel, and Jonathan Charles), who were the loves of her life. After her children were all at school age, she Carla began her career at United Healthcare where she worked as a Provider Contract Analyst. After 20 years of service, she retired and set aside a great amount of her time to her grandchildren.

In 2019, Carla started her second career as a small business owner - Liggins Legacy3, a Home Healthcare Service.

Carla was predeceased by her husband, Henry Lee Sr., father, Charles Johnson, and grandparents Daniel and Ethel Marbuery. She is survived by her three sons, Henry Lee, Samuel Nathaniel, and Jonathan Charles; Grandchildren, Peyton, Aubrey, Josiah, Jonathan, and Amari; Mother, Gwendolyn Benjamin; aunt, Harriet Benjamin; uncle, Clifford Johnson; siblings, Anthony Hall and wife, Angela of Augusta, GA, Pamela Cason and her husband, Douglas of Thomson, GA, Regina Petty and her husband Andre of Severn, MD, and Terrence Hall and his wife, Sabrina of Carnesville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at Covenant Community Church of Cleveland on May 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM EDT.
