Blanche Nell Floyd

It is with great sadness that the children of Blanche announce her passing.

Blanche Nell Floyd passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 26, 2021. She enjoyed dancing, Bingo, Music, Fashion, fishing, walking, laughing, telling Amazing stories, and her grandchildren. Blanche was well known for having lived in the historic Hough Neighborhood on Addison / Dellenbaugh where she met many lifelong friends and relatives including her late ex husband, Malcom D. Williams (Fox).

Blanche was sort of a child prodigy attending Wade Park in a special program for gifted children where she learned to speak French. She attended Collinwood High School being bussed to assist in integration. There, Blanche was involved in many activities including boosters, choir and the Arbor Day Committee - where the tree she planted still stands to this day. Upon graduation she attended the University of Cincinnati. She was a long time employee at a few places such as Bobbie Brooks, Sears, and finally retiring from Cleveland Clinic.

Blanche was predeceased by her father, Walter Joe Floyd; mother, Nellie Mae Floyd (Fields); sister, Ethel Lucille Fields; brother, Amos Floyd, brother, Joe Andra Floyd, and sister, Susie Jacqueline Ramsey known as "Jackie" (Lasalle).

Blanche is survived by her children, daughter, Sherri Lucille Floyd; son, Donell Williams, son Leandra Floyd, and daughter, Ana Floyd. Grandchildren: Brittany Nicole Wilkins (Craig), Davon Porter, Jay'Me'Ana Felder Floyd, Roby'on Cunningham, and Fox Alexander Williams. Her beloved one and only, Robert Barkley.
