Adriane Denise Sanders

Adriane "Denise, Niecy" Lomax was born to Gloria Lomax on November 22nd 1957 in Cleveland OH. Niecy, was raised by her grandparents Hattie & Alphonso Lomax Sr., whom she called Mama and daddy. Niecy, came to Jesus Christ at a young age through her grandparents. In her youth Denise attended Liberty Hill Baptist Church and sang in the choir, eventually becoming the director of the sunshine band.

In 1975 Adriane graduated from JFK high school in Cleveland OH. On June 20th 1976 Adriane wed Leonard Sanders, from this union bore Chayla & Christopher Sanders. Adriane worked as an STNA at metro health hospital in Cleveland, OH until deciding to leave the workforce and focus on her husband and children. Denise returned to the workforce years later having various occupations as her skill set was multifaceted. Denise had the voice of an Angel; she could sing a commercial jingle in a fashion that would change the way you thought about the product. Denise's talent as a songstress came with her, when she joined Anointed Gates church in Cleveland, OH in 2001. Denise sang on the praise team, taught children's church, fed the homeless and volunteered countless hours at Anointed Gates church.

Unfortunately, in 2005 Niecy was permanently disabled in a head on collision, however through the grace of God her spirit continued to bless everyone.

Anyone who encountered Denise knew of the love she had for people, her family, and especially the children in the family. Everyone's children received the benefit of Denise's heart and genuine love. In 2010 after the untimely death of her mother Gloria Lomax Holt, Niecy assisted in the raising of her niece Darianna Holt. It was not a stretch for Denise because she had always kept Darianna close.

Adriane Denise Lomax Sanders went home to be with the Lord on November the 4th 2021. She is greatly missed, preceding her in passing are her grandparents Hattie an Alfonso Lomax senior, her mother Gloria Jean Lomax Holt, her uncle Alfonso Lomax junior and her aunt Ardelia Lomax.

Denise leaves to mourn her passing two children Chayla Deneen Sanders and Christopher Vernon Sanders, a granddaughter Kreshauna Johnson, one Godson Brandon, three brothers, Aldion Holt (Lisa), Darren Lomax, Martin Holt (Gwendolyn), nieces Shayla, Dionna, Darianna, Jada, Precious, Kiara, Tiara, Kaylee, and nephews Justin, Brandon, Kaden. Denise also had lifelong sisterships with Edith love, Sharon pride, and Pat Green.
