William Anthony Abron, affectionately known as "Tony," passed away peacefully March 19, 2026. Born on February 21, 1958, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Hubert and Marion Abron, Tony remained a proud native of Knoxville throughout his youth and graduated from Austin-East High School.
Tony later moved to Ohio, where he met and married his beloved wife, Joyce. Together, they built a beautiful life and welcomed their daughter, Jocelyn. A man of many interests, Tony found great joy in cooking and was an avid reader with a particular passion for revisiting his favorite science fiction novels. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family-especially his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.
Tony will be remembered for his immense generosity and his big heart. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Joyce K. Abron (Deloney); his daughter, Jocelyn R. Baldwin (Abron); his son-in-law, Jason Baldwin; and his grandson, Jax Anthony Baldwin. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Abron of St. Louis, Karen Arter of Knoxville, TN, and Elease Abron of Tallmadge, OH, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Marion Abron, and his brothers, Richard Abron, Steven Abron Sr, and Jamie Harrison. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
