VERNON BABER SR., 81; Passed Apr. 12, 2014; Adored husband of Annie Jo Jeffrey Baber; father of Vernon Jr. and Vonita Baber, Cheryl (Anthony) Johnson and Carolyn (Louis) Hohl; brother of Charles Youngblood and Gloria (Fred) Tyus; also leaves uncle Leo (Betty) Baber, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. SERVICES ON SATURDAY, APR. 19TH, WAKE 9:30 AM and FUNERAL at 10:30 AM at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, 8712 Quincy Ave. Watsons Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Ave. in charge. Public viewing Friday, April 18 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment in Lake View Cemetery.
