Talmadge Murphy

Talmadge Donald Murphy, beloved father, grandfather, and respected member of his community, passed away peacefully from natural causes on September 7, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on July 23, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, he spent his life dedicated to both his family and his profession in the financial services industry. Talmadge was the owner of TD Murphy & Associates, where he enjoyed helping others achieve financial wealth and empowering them toward financial freedom.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Talmadge served from May 10, 1968, until his discharge on May 9, 1971, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He was known for his passion for numbers and astrology, often sharing insights that reflected his belief in the connections between the celestial and the earthly. In high school, he distinguished himself on the basketball court, receiving accolades for his exceptional talent and commitment to the sport.

Talmadge is survived by his loving children, Tracy Murphy, Tamera Murphy, and Talmadge Murphy Jr., along with his cherished grandchildren, Tiaira McDuffie, Tionah McDuffie, and Amir Grams. He will also be greatly missed by his niece, Teia Murphy and his Love Bug Maria Stewert. His impact on the lives of those he touched will be remembered fondly.
