Sean Andre Odom

Sean Andre Odom, 59 of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away suddenly on May 26, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Family - orientated and the embodiment of light heartedness. Sean was born on March 23, 1967, to the late Clara Frances Odom (Hunter) and William Wesley Shears in Cleveland, Ohio.

He attended Cleveland public schools, where he graduated from West Technical High School. Sean continued to engage in lifelong learning. He was ambitious, determined and a real go getter.

During early 2000's, Sean started his own business, Paradise Premier fulfilling his dreams of working for himself. Through perseverance and resilience, he mastered skills in concrete- laying, home renovation, and other trades.

Full of life! You could find Sean out on water fishing & boating. He also enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle and hanging out with his family & friends.

He has a history of BMX racing, member of the Rolls Royce Touring Club, and a member of the Ruff Ryders motorcycle club (Shut M' Down) and an avid card player. He was quick witted and loved to make people laugh. He was known as Ozone in the Rolls Royce bikers. A member of the Ace Racing Team with his family. He assisted in advanced fundamentals of Race cars and drag bikes. Sean had a magnetic personality that would light up any room he walks in.

Sean was preceded in death by his wife, April Monique Mitchell-Odom the love of his life, and his son, Andre Odom.

Laughter and memories will continue to be shared by his children; Cyesha Odom, Jordan Odom (Kqiera Calhoun), Justin Odom, Quonte Eggleton, Sean Swanigan, and Taylor Odom.

His grandchildren Armani Blake, Jenairo Foxx, Aniyah Odom, Arianna Edwards, Jordan Odom Jr., Justin Odom Jr., Karter Eggleton, Kylie Eggleton, Kyndall Eggleton, Mckenzie Odom, and Zion Odom.

Siblings; Antoinette Shears, Charletta Foote (Hillis), Charlie Hunter (Naomi), Jaqueline Shears, Simon Hunter (Kimberly), and William W. Shears Jr. He also leaves to cherish a host of family and friends.

Sean will always be remembered for his immense love for his family, having a way to make something out of nothing, and his unmatched humor.
