Sarah Yvonne Hunt, affectionately known as "Sadie," was born on January 4, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Lydia McRae and Charles Morris. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Second Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Sarah attended Lauderdale High School and furthered her education at the Kings Skills Center, where she earned her GED and a Certification in Administration. A lifelong learner, Sadie was truly a "Jack of all trades," embracing every opportunity to grow and master new skills-especially those she could learn from books. She instilled this same passion for knowledge in her children.

On September 27, 1998, she united in marriage with Vincent Hunt.

On May 2, 2025, Sarah was called home to be with the Lord and those who preceded her in death, including her beloved grandmother, Sarah Jean McCray, and her father, Charles Morris.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Lydia McCray; her devoted daughter, Sarah Martin; her son, Vincent Morris; her sister, Samantha McCray; a host of grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends. Sarah's legacy of love, strength, and wisdom will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
