Ruth Ann Dedrick(Wade), born on February 5, 1944, in Cleveland, OH, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Known to everyone as a devoted homemaker, Ruth was more than just a mother; she was a mentor, a friend, and a partner in crime for many. She found joy in every role she played, whether it was playing the role of a hairdresser, chef, teacher, or therapist to her loved ones. And boy could she throw a party. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Ruth was married to James Dedrick on February 27, 1971. She was a vibrant member of the Roll Royce Social Club and a Sister of OES, where she formed lasting friendships and gave back to her community. Her spirit shone brightly through her love for fashion, her knack for cooking delightful meals, and her willingness to lend an ear when someone needed to talk.

She leaves behind her loving children: Stephanie Fauntleroy, Marc Wade(Michelle), Kellie McDowell(Barry), Steve Wade, and Sonny Saunders. Ruth had the incredible opportunity to watch her family grow, celebrating the many milestones of her 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Her home was always filled with their laughter, and her stories will continue to be shared for generations to come.

All are invited to join the family in celebrating Ruth's remarkable life at her memorial service on April 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Watson's Funeral Home.
