SERVICES ON TUESDAY NOV. 16th, WAKE 10:00 AM, FUNERAL 10:30 AM at Leviticus Bible Baptist Church, 15010 Sunview Avenue. Interment in Cleveland Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bennie Richardson Sr. was born June 15, 1944. He was born to the late Jimmy and Rosa Richardson in Birmingham, Alabama. He was the youngest of three. His brother Johnny preceded him in death. He graduated from Western Olin High School. He was married to Joretha Harris and to this union five children were born. Then he moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Later he married Eddie Mae Warren. They raised a granddaughter, Shaquoi Hill. Bennie worked at Valley Mould and Cleveland Board of Education as a bus driver. He was called into the ministry in 1985. Bennie was ordained by the late Pastor George Reynolds. He served as a co-Pastor at Morrison Ave. Missionary Baptist Church. He also attended Bible College. Bennie last two sermons were titled When God was at His Best and Help me Lift Jesus. He loved to sing and read God's word. Bennie leaves to mourn a wife, Eddie Mae Richardson; brother, William Richardson (Ruth) of Cleveland, Ohio; children, Kevin M. Richardson and Kica M. Richardson of Birmingham, Alabama, Bennie Jr., Derrish and Sharon D. Richardson of Cleveland, Ohio; step daughter, Evelyn Chaffin (Johnny) of Jackson, Mississippi; adopted son, Xavier Dowdell; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
