Regina Harris was born on June 11, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to loving parents Tommy Harris Sr. and Delores Bowden. She spent her early years in Chicago alongside her younger brother, Tommy Harris Jr.

Regina attended John Marshall High School, where she discovered her love for basketball and proudly graduated. On May 4, 1986, she welcomed her first child, Chanel. Three years later, on July 18, 1989, she gave birth to her second child, Chavone. In the years that followed, Regina met Alfred Williams, with whom she had twins-DeMario and Diamond-born on January 8, 1994.

Regina had a deep love for music and could often be found singing with passion to the tunes of her favorite artists. She also had a flair for interior decorating, frequently rearranging her living and dining rooms with the help of her children to match the changing seasons. Her love for movies-whether action, thriller, comedy, or horror-made family movie nights a cherished tradition in her home.

On March 14, 2025, Regina fell ill and was hospitalized. Despite a courageous battle, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 1:12 a.m., God called His angel home.

Regina leaves to cherish her memory four beloved children: Chanel, Chavone, DeMario, and Diamond Harris; and seven adored grandchildren: A'Kyra, Naomi, Nasir, and Ava from Chavone; and Gabriella, Ariel, and Ja'Cari from Chanel.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
