Penny Reese

On February 9th 1964, Frank Reese and Jesie Oliver-Reese welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, whom they named Penny. She was the third of four siblings and was raised in Cleveland, Ohio.

From an early age Penny found Christ and carried her faith with her throughout her life. She attended Cleveland Public Schools, where she began building the foundation for the strong determined woman she would become.

In 1982, Penny welcomed her first child, a son, "Marcus Antonio Jackson", into the world. Shortly after, she continued her education at Cuyahoga Community College and later earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Remington College, an accomplishment that reflected her drive and perseverance.

In 1992, she was blessed again with the birth of her daughter, "Christina Cherae Reese". Penny was a woman who loved life. She enjoyed laughing, traveling, and spending time with those she loved. She worked in various roles throughout her life, always showing dedication and strength. Her most recent position was with the Cleveland Public School system, where she served in multiple capacities with care and commitment.

On March 12th, 2026, Penny closed her eyes for eternity.

Penny leaves to mourn for her Christina, her beloved daughter, five grandchildren, a host of cousins, one sister, one brother, two nieces, one nephew, three great-nieces, two great-nephews, and two great-great-nephews, as well as many acquaintances and friends.

Learn to live more, Judge less, love more and say "Hello", "How are you" and "Thank you" more. For life is a GIFT! So, be thankful for the time you are given to enjoy it!"
