Keith Smith was the fourth child born to Elvira Lee Williams and Timothy James Smith on October 27th, 1953.
Keith attended Cleveland Public Schools where he graduated from John F. Kennedy in 1972. He studied Art because he had a passion for drawing.
He married Beverly Powell in 1984, and to this union Keith gained Five more reasons to live, Ibn, Sharika, Janan (Chris), Zayd, and Amani (Calvin).
Keith was employed locally by several corporations during his life. He worked at Ford, J&L Steel, Cleveland Clinic, Great House, Wyndham Hotels, Radison, and most recently McGregor Place.
Keith loved to draw, dance, spend time with his grandkids, who referred to him as "G-Daddy", getting dressed up and spending money. His fashion sense and style were like no other. And his smile, was infectious.
Keith was preceded in death by his brother Hosea. Keith leaves to mourn all five of his children, Ibn, Sharika, Janan (Chris), Zayd, and Amani (Calvin); his mother, Elvira Smith; father, Timothy James Smith; four sisters, Myra (Ross), Eva, Annise (Victor), and Nylee Tracy; three brothers, Timothy (Marsha), Fred, and Lavar; five grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.
