Kathy Smith

Kathy was the fourth child born to the late Minnie and Raymond Edwards on September 26, 1956.

A mother, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend Kathy was a beautiful soul comfortable, and confident in her own skin. Always lifting someone spirits and giving motivations to be better. Her famous line was "imma give you one more chance".

Kathy attended East High school and in 1974 she had her first child Chantella ( Nicole ) She later Married Jerry Smith and in 1984 they gave birth to Jerry Smith Jr ( Jr). Her Children and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren were her world and kept plenty of joy laughter in her heart. She was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of St. Luke's Missionary Church.

Kathy was employed at PCC Airfoils until she retired. She enjoyed line dancing , a good spade or bid whist game and skating. She absolutely loved and cherished her family, the Edwards Kimbro's and Williamson she could tell you the entire family history without skipping a beat.

Kathy passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond, and Minnie; two brothers, Raymond Jr. and Raymond Howard; three sisters, Diane, Joyce and Romanita;

Kathy leaves to cherish her memories one, daughter Chantella; one son, Jerry Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Khayla , Davonta, Aniya , Alissa ,Shalissa, Jeremiah, Danielle, Malaya, Milani and baby Marlei. two great grandchildren, Tamiya and Giannis; one brother, Kenneth Kilgore (Sharon); four sisters, Connie (Gil), Deborah, Sherry, and Angie (Steve); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and other family and friends that loved her dearly.
