Jasire Compton

Jasire Nola Compton, born on January 12, 2023, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on September 15, 2025, at the tender age of two. She brought immense joy and laughter to her family and friends during her short time with us. Jasire was a bright spirit, known for her love of dancing, running, and jumping, often spending delightful moments playing and having fun with her cousins.

Jasire was eager to learn, enthusiastically practicing her ABC's and numbers, a testament to her curiosity and vibrant personality. Her laughter and playful demeanor created cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving grandmother, Kim Berry; her devoted parents, Chantell Compton and Justice Shanton; her brother, Vernell Mays III; her uncles Terrill Bell and David Dinkins; and her aunts Jenisha Bell, Tashawna Dinkins, Simone Dinkins, and Paula Dinkins. Additionally, she will be missed by her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Dinkins, and a multitude of cousins, including Dontaya Thomas, Samari Sojourney, Neveah Betts, Aviana Betts, Ta'lia Betts, Monea Betts, DeAngela Betts, Christopher Lawson, Lina Lawson, Johan Lawson, and James Betts Jr.

Jasire's beautiful spirit will be remembered fondly, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family. In her memory, cremation will take place, and she will be honored at a future gathering where loved ones will come together to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to those around her.
