Ethel Jones Polk was born December 13, 1931, in Como, Mississippi to the late Rufus and Ethel Jones whom both preceded her in death.


Ethel confessed Christ at an early age at Cistern Hill Baptist Church in Mississippi. She attended the South Panola School District in Batesville, Mississippi. Ethel was a devoted housewife who loved to cook for her family and friends.


Ethel leaves to cherish her memory, children, Linda Proctor of Chicago, Illinois, Lamar Williams (Holly), Robert Polk, Barbara Jean (Bobby) all of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Gwen Jones and Barbara Jean Jones of Texas; two favorite cousins who were like sisters, Wavine Commons and Rebbie Stone; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.
