God opened the windows of Heaven and poured out a blessing on November 29, 1946, to Percy Bell and Florine Wright and blessing grand parents: Berta and J. D.Whitfield with Ethel Jean.
From Ethel's very beginning she celebrated life with joy, purpose, and passion. Ethel accepted Christ at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James Stallworth, Sr.
Ethel was a High Stepper in high school and loved cheering for the basketball and football teams. Ethel graduated from East Tech High School with honors. After graduation she went to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Ethel later married the love of her life Kenneth Kimbro and to that union were two children Kenneth, Jr. and Yolanda. She later went to work for WEWS and then Bobbie Brooks.
She was preceded in death by parents Percy Bell and Florine Wright; Grand parents Berta Whitfield, J.D. Whitfield, her husband Kenneth Kimbro.

To know Ethel was to love her. Ethel's light will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Yolanda Kimbro, son Kenneth Kimbro,Jr.; Grand children: Razja, Rema, Kenneth, Devonte, Roshon; Great grand children: Ranya, Raine, Ramir and Rhylee: Sisters and Brothers: Bobbie, Florine, Richard (Tiny), and Eugene (Elosie), Ernest (Patricia) Boclair; Cousins: Clotee Aldo, Mable Owen's,Vickie Valentine, Jolline Griffith,J C James, Rayfield James, Ann Taylor, Ruthamae Stewart, Delores Adam's; God sister Glenda James Smith; Special friend Jessie Prather, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
