Emma Jean Scott was born July 28, 1950, in Cuba, Alabama, to Alice and Walter Scott Sr. She departed this life and entered eternal peace on June 3, 2026.
Emma was the seventh of ten children, she was preceded in death by her parents, loving and devotedly caring stepmother Lula Mae Scott, along with two sisters, Louise Scott, Della Patterson, and three brothers, Walter Scott Jr., Sam Scott, and Willy Dee Hayes.
Emma love Jehovah and talked about Him constantly; she was a faithful servant of Jehovah until her death. Emma worked at Bi-Rite Super Market and then Silvermans both in East Cleveland for many years. Upon leaving her secular career Emma dedicated her life to serving Jehovah and family.
Emma had many hobbies and interests. She loved thrifting, she was always looking for a bargain. Emma also enjoyed working on her own car, she liked to dance, in her younger days' softball was her favorite things to do. Gardening was something Emma excelled in. Her plants were always tallest and greenest.
Emma Jean Scott leaves to cherish her memory, son, Claude Scott, daughter, Claudia Scott, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters and one brother, her twin Ann Scott, Mimi Scott, Maxie Scott (Gloria) all from the Cleveland area, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
