Dionne Monique Hawkins was born June 15, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio to Sheila Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her father Toney Boyce and two children Monquise, and Amod.
At an early age Dionne was Baptized and accepted Christ. Dionne received her education from the Cleveland Public School System, finishing at Glenville High School.
Dionne was known for being feisty, "straight up, no chaser" and her outgoing personality. Dionne will forever be known for popping her shit, you knew you would get good jokes, and a hearty laugh.
A true lover of life, Dionne enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, singing, and dancing. She had an undeniable passion for her grandchildren and often said she would "draw a fish and kill a brick" for them. A natural outdoorswoman, she could BBQ, lay concrete, and fish all at the same time.
Dionne was also a true diva, always recognized by her signature side swoop and a touch of lip gloss.
She leaves to cherish her memory seven children: Jazzmen, Dierra, Shatia, Rashad, Jadea, Deon, and Devon; one and only sister, Shrondra; one brother, Toney; three grandchildren: Antonio Jackson, Kynn ("Boody"), and Jakhi Myheir; two nephews, Christopher and Corey and a host of cousins, extended relatives, and special friend & Fiancé.
