Diane was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a proud graduate of Glenville High School. Her sharp mind, quick wit, and natural curiosity made her a lifelong learner who was well-versed in many subjects. She had an incredible ability to engage in deep, thoughtful conversations and was admired for her intelligence and insight.


Diane married Richard Cloud, with whom she shared many years of laughter, partnership, and devotion. From this union came Ntianu Ehraht Cloud, Richard Cloud Jr., and Damaris Cloud.


A true gamer at heart, Diane had a passion for gaming of all types - from classic board games to the latest video games. Her competitive spirit and playful energy made her the heart of every game night, and she loved the way gaming brought people together.


Diane will be remembered for her sharp mind, generous heart, and ability to connect with people of all walks of life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and wisdom that will live on through her family and friends.


She is survived by her cherished parents Willie Thomas and Lillian Thomas; her beloved siblings Larry, (Legenda) David, Janet (James), Carol, and Beverly; her children Ntianu Cloud, Richard Cloud Jr., and Damaris Cloud. Her treasured grandchildren are Aderah, Fatimah, Calvin, Yoel, Benjamin, Joshua, Aaliyah, Deshanti, Damaris Jr., Harlem, Brooklyn, and Alanna. Her precious great-grandchildren are Kimaya, Mykah, Cory, Ava, Rylie, Meilah, and Kyng.


She is also survived by her sister from another, her cousin Cassandra Miah (Kallick), and a host of many more nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and friends.


Diane was the life of every party - her laughter, her energy, and her generous spirit will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and joy that will continue to shine through every person whose life she touched.


Her family invites all who knew and loved her to celebrate her beautiful life and the countless memories she leaves behind.
