Devon Rashaun Foster, born on February 3, 1991, to Lawrence Edward King and Janet Ann Foster, departed this life leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep family bonds.
Devon was a proud graduate of John Adams High School, Class of 2014. He had an unforgettable personality and a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures-especially his mother's fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and homemade chili. He was a natural at uniting those around him and was known as the heart of many family gatherings.
Devon found joy in music, online video games shared with friends and family, and often visited the gravesites of his two beloved brothers, honoring their memories with devotion.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Edward King Jr; and brothers, Domenique Sherman King, and Delvonté Shemar King.
Devon leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Janet Ann Foster; his brothers, Delourence Edward King and Damar King; and his sisters, Mercedes Ruffin, Brittney Johnson, and Cherie Jackson. He is also survived by his grandfather, Lawrence Edward King Sr.; grandmothers, Pamela King and Brenda Howard; his children- Daveon, Daquan, Elias, Amir, Amonie, Caliane, and Denim; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
