David Grayson was born on April 9, 1948, in McMinnville, Tennessee. The son of David and Mary Grayson. His parents, two brothers, and a sister preceded him in death: Jerry Sr., Gilbert, and Ethel Grayson.
David attended John Hay high school. He enlisted in the United States Armed Forces on August 13, 1968. He was Honorable Discharged and received the National Defense Service Medal, and Sharpshooter M-14.
David had a relentless work ethic he was a people person developing friendships and creating lasting memories. David worked for the VA Hospital and became a transit driver for the Regional Transit Authority - RTA. David was most recently employed with the City of Cleveland Vehicle Impound Unit. David was married to June Grayson on June 24, 1991.
David leaves to cherish his memory his wife, June Grayson; four children, Anglia, David Grayson Jr, Monica Grayson (Antoine), and Sherry Grayson; one sister, Carolyn Willis; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and special nephews, Jerry and Kevin Grayson.
