Chanta Dandridge

Chanta Dandridge was born on December 27, 1972, to Lessie Dandridge and Larry Dandridge. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, alongside her siblings Toni, Sam, and Tenisha.

Chanta attended Health Career Center High School, where she graduated and began pursuing her passions. She had a deep love for music and drawing, and her favorite artist of all time was Michael Jackson. Chanta also cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories with those she loved.

Chanta passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Dandridge; her stepfather, Bernard Welch; and her beloved sister, Toni Graham.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted mother, Lessie Dandridge; her siblings, Sam Dandridge and Tenisha Dandridge; her five nieces, Kieyanni, Keyshaun, Kieymani, Kierrah, and Samantha; her great-nephew, Ezra; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Chanta's spirit, creativity, and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
