The sun rose for Anthony Vaurice Hall on April 19, 1975. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Irvin Whitall and Anthony J. Hicks, Anthony was a man characterized by his swagger, style, and finesse. He grew up alongside his siblings, brother Eddie E. Moses II and sister Chonoz Moses, and remained deeply interactive with his family and friends throughout his life.
Anthony was raised by his grandparents, Alice and Richard Hall. He deeply admired his late grandfather, Richard Hall Sr., and dreamed of walking in his footsteps while carrying on the Hall family legacy. His grandparents affectionately called him their "grand baby."
Anthony earned his GED from an Ohio institution and later completed an Associate's degree in Law Enforcement from Cuyahoga Community College. Anthony valued loyalty, honesty, and trust. His word was his bond, and his kindness was never to be mistaken for weakness.
A devoted father and man of strong faith, Anthony loved his family fiercely - especially his two daughters, Nazarria C. Hall and Tannaria T. Hall, both of Cleveland, Ohio. He protected them like a father bear defending his cubs. He loved his children's mother, his aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews on all sides. He often reminded others that "God has the final say" and encouraged them to look at the bigger picture and keep faith in God. Anthony loved music and shopping. He enjoyed golfing and sitting quietly as a thinker.
His bright smile was a ray of light by day and stars at night. Anthony Vaurice Hall was called home on March 19, 2026. He leaves a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. This is not goodbye, but "See you later." He now rests with the Most High God.
Let go of hate, selfishness, and envy. Forgive one another. We all have a mandatory appointment with God. Repent, draw close to Him, and live each day with love and purpose - only then will you see Anthony and your loved ones again.
