Annie Rashad

Annie Bell Rashad was born on May 1, 1937, to the late Annie McCord, and passed away on April 13, 2025.

She dedicated over 30 years of service to Carnegie Health Care Rehabilitation, where she met her two best friends, Ruby and Marlene. A woman of faith, Annie Bell was a devoted member of Agape Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, where she faithfully served in the Saints Alive ministry.

Annie was preceded in death by her three beloved sons: Douglas, James, and Tony.

Annie Bell leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Eugenia and Tara; niece Robbin; three nephews, Billy, Michael, and Carl; daughter-in-law Angela; and sons-in-law Donald, and Rashad.

Annie’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Jacquita, Harry, Rochelle, Bianca, Carrie (Deangelo), Brittney, Sierra, Brittany, Isiah, and Dylan.

Annie Bell was blessed with a host of great-grandchildren: Jamal, Danielle, Geremiah, Paige, Tyler, Deangelo Jr., Tanayah, Tamya, Tamaria, Simarion, Sienna, Samiyah, Taddariva, Arielle, DeLontae, Phoebe, Taylor, Zoey, Syaire, Santana, Halo and Saige.
