Annie Louise Hudson, affectionately known as Louise and Molly, was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, on July 24, 1934, to the late Willie and Lola B. Sullins. She was the forth of ten children.
Louise attended Lewis Adams Elementary School before relocating to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1948 with her aunt. She continued her education in Cleveland Public Schools and later attended Kent State University.
She accepted Christ at an early age and became a devoted member of First Beulah Baptist Church, where she remained active for over 45 years. Louise worked at Standard Knitting Mills for 13 years and later served the community as a school bus driver and teacher's assistant at the Green Road Development Center for 23 years.
Louise met Howard Hudson, and they were married on April 3, 1958. Together, they raised five children. Their son, Dwayne, preceded them in death.
Louise was deeply involved in her church, singing in the choir and serving as the church clerk. She had a passion for music, dancing, cooking, and word search puzzles, and she was known for her impeccable sense of style.
After retiring, she moved back to Tuskegee in November 1994, where she attended Sweet Canaan and Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church. Louise departed this life on August 9, 2024.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Michelle, Darlene (Kenny), and Debra; one son, Michael; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Elijah Sullins of Tuskegee, AL; one sister, Veola Patrick of Haynesville, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
