Alicia R. Woodson was born on November 22, 1988, to Carol and Percy Woodson. She was 37 years old. Alicia's life was filled with love, faith, family, and unforgettable moments shared with those who knew and loved her.

At the age of five, Alicia relocated to Deerfield Beach, Florida, where much of her childhood was shaped and developed. She was outgoing, full of life, and loved to travel, especially to places of amusement such as zoos and amusement parks. Alicia loved having fun and making memories with her family and friends.

Alicia accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized. From birth, she was a member alongside her mother at The Greater Mt. Olivet Church of God in Christ, where her grandfather, the late Supt. Paul D. Ealy, served as pastor. As a young adult, Alicia later joined The Prayer Tower Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Elder James Bannerman.

Alicia graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 2007. She also attended the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, and the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio where she completed several college courses.

Alicia was a loving mother to her four children: Yolanzo, Jalanna, Antoine "AJ", and Le'Ryah. Her children, ranging in age from 15 to 2, were a precious part of her life and legacy.

Alicia was preceded in death by her father, Percy Woodson; her stepfather, Robert Scott; her brother, Eric Woodson; and her grandfather, Pastor Paul D. Ealy.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Carolyn Scott; her sister, Teresa Woodson; her children, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, and dear friends.

Alicia will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her love for family, her faith in Christ, and the special memories she created with those around her. Her life touched many hearts, and her memory will continue to live on through all who loved her.
