"Where Quality Has No Substitute"

The Watson Family

In 1952, Donald Watson decided to venture out on his own and open Watson's Funeral Home in Cleveland, Ohio. With the undying support of his wife, Margaret, they were successful in their dream. Donald Watson departed from this world in 1968 leaving his son Charles and beloved wife Margaret to carry on.

Charles Watson Sr., is a proud graduate of Glennville HS, has been working in the funeral business for over 50 years! Charles attended Central State until his father Donald’s untimely death in 1968 and he returned to Cleveland and his mother’s side to help her keep Watson’s Funeral Home afloat during those first few turbulent years without Donald, the family patriarch. Charles has 3 children, Hallie & Cory Watson daughters and 1 son Charles Jr.

Hallie Watson, attended Shaker Heights High School and progressed through Hampton University earning a degree in Marketing. She applied her degree to the Banking world and teamed up with National City bank in the Management Training Program. Then Hallie went on to work for Stern Advertising as an Executive Account Representative for McDonald’s Corporation. All of these wonderful experiences still lead her back to her roots and desire to give back to her family business as well as the community which groomed her. Now following in the footsteps of her grandparents and father, Hallie Watson is a licensed Funeral Director managing Watson’s Funeral Home. She remains involved with her alma mater Hampton University, as well as raising two young sons, Bryce & Blake.
