Sandra Taylor Obituary

Sandra M. Taylor was born in Clarksville, TN; on January 15, 1956, to James and Alma Collins. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Babbie, brother Harold, and brother Dwayne. Sandra accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Cabin Row Baptist Church, in Clarksville, TN. Later in life alongside her husband, they became members of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church where she served faithfully during her sickness until her death.

Sandra married the love of her life, Johnny Taylor, on October 3, 1980. One child was loved and nurtured through this union, Deondes Taylor.

Sandra was educated through the Clarksville, TN school system. Sandra graduated from Tacoma Community College, in Tacoma, WA. She continued her education and graduated from American Career Training Travel School, working for American Airlines. Sandra was a loving, devoted military wife, having many jobs while traveling with her husband.

She enjoyed modeling and was the makeup artist for family and friends. She was a real fashionista. After Johnny retired from the military, they relocated to Cleveland, OH; where Sandra continued her career by working for financial institutions and the City of Cleveland, OH; until her illness and retirement.

Sandra was a woman with strong moral values, and whatever she strived to do in life she did it to the fullest.

Sandra, a devoted grandmother, enjoyed showing her two loving grandsons off. She loved teaching and traveling with them. (Denzel and Darius) Sandra leaves to cherish her memory; her loving husband, son Deondes, grandsons Denzel and Darius (Sunny), great granddaughter Amara, sister Linda (Larry), brothers: Larry (Johana), James (Joe), Billy (Carolyn), loving mother-in-law June Franklin and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.
